Nolinor Aviation : Transporting essential equipment to Iqaluit in October 2021

Following the state of emergency declared in the city of Iqaluit due to contaminants in the drinking water supply in October 2021, Nolinor dispatched a 737-200 to pick up mechanical equipment in Pond Inlet and bring it to Iqaluit to repair the faulty installations. Since Pond Inlet has a short runway, the Government of Nunavut called on the expertise and experience of Nolinor Aviation to meet the demand.
